Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing company in the cybersecurity industry? Digital Boundary Group is seeking a Software Developer to join our Research and Development team!


At Digital Boundary Group, we specialize in security assessments and penetration testing. We have an amazing team of bright, talented, experienced people who are driven to learn and grow. Our R&D team is a group of high performers who are constantly working to improve our tools to be used by our cyber security experts to help organizations all over the world improve their security posture.


This position is available to be fully remote with occasional in-person meetings, or in one of our offices (London, Ontario or Dallas, Texas).


As a key member of our R&D team, you will get to:

  • Use skills gained from your previous education and professional experience to develop in-house tools to help automate penetration testing, social engineering, and reporting.
  • Use your excellent communication skills to work alongside the R&D team and other stake holders with solutions planning, design reviews, and requirement sessions.
  • Monitor in-house applications and respond to outages, escalations, and other unexpected issues that may arise.
  • Research and implement ways to improve the reputation of domains and websites used for social engineering.
  • Use your attention to detail to perform quality assurance and bug fixing tasks.

What kind of experience should you have?

  • 1-2 years of software development experience, working with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, C, C++, C#, WinAPI, Python, HTML, JavaScript, and JQuery
  • Relevant diploma or degree in a Computer Science Program (Computer Programmer Analyst, Computer Systems Technology, Software Engineering, or similar) or equivalent training and commensurate work experience
  • Experience with PowerShell and PostgreSQL is an asset
